Teeth whitening is a popular procedure to make your teeth whiter and brighter, and therefore more attractive. Bleaching can be used to whiten stained and discolored teeth, or simply to enhance a dull smile. Either way, teeth whitening is a safe and relatively painless procedure for most patients. Whitening comes in strips, trays, or in-office procedures. We offer a wide variety of options for you at our practice.
In-office bleaching procedures are ideal if you want immediate results. We use Sinsational Smile® in-office bleaching, and it takes less than 30 minutes! During the procedure you will wear a pre-filled silicone tray in your mouth onto which an LED light will shine. This light activates the gel's whitening ingredients, leaving you with a new brighter smile. It's fast, easy, comfortable and affordable! Ask us about Sinsational Smile® today.
Another in-office procedure we offer is Zoom! Whitening. Zoom! works by bleaching the teeth or lightening discolored teeth and is performed in our office in about one and a half hours. The procedure begins by covering the lips and gums – exposing only the teeth. We then apply a whitening gel which is designed to work with the Zoom! AP light. The light and gel work together to break up stains and discolorations. The gel will be applied in three, 15 minute sessions, leaving you with a whiter and brighter smile!
Tray whitening is a less-expensive and convenient at-home whitening treatment. The results are more gradual. We use Opalescence® for our tray whitening. Opalescence®, the state-of-the-art product used by dentists to whiten your teeth, and the process has never been easier. One major advantage, and the reason why many patients choose this option, is that the procedure can be performed at home at your own convenience. Trays made with thin, comfortable plastic are created, and they fit tightly and perfectly against your teeth. You simply load these trays with Opalescence® gel and wear them at home for about an hour a day. As the gel dissolves, it breaks down into oxygen and penetrates into the enamel to make your teeth whiter. Results can be seen in as little as one application, but teeth will get whiter and whiter as the treatments continue. Whitening strips can be available at the local store or at dental practices. The dentist will have the best recommendations for your needs. Ask about our whitening options! Please consult us about use of over-the-counter whitening treatments.
